Spain will host the much anticipated Davis Cup Semi-final tie in the historic 23,400 seat Plaza de Toros, Madrid's famous bullring.
The Spaniards will be most likely led by Nadal and Ferrer who are at their very best on a slow clay surface, while the Americans who will most likely be led by hard serving Andy Roddick and James Blake along with the Bryan Brother are likely to benefit from the higher altitude speeding up play. The last time the USA played a Davis Cup tie in Spain was the 2004 final in Seville in front of a very vocal 27,200 fans, a historic attendance record for any sanctioned tennis event. The atmosphere will be electric in the 23,400 seat Plaza de Toros.
